hey, im cracksman
why am I posting an introduction so late? well, things change lol.
so im cracksman. I originally chose my name because I wanted to get into cracking software and making keygens. that didn't really work out lol.
I think my intro into the "scene" in the early 2000s, I had probably caught a computer virus and went searching for "win32.sub7". lo, and behold I found the most interesting piece of software I had ever laid my eyes on. I think the forum was called sub7legends, mobman had already vanished and it was just a group of guys supporting the forum. anywho i made some really good friends back then. fastforward a little and i found unkn0wn which was a pretty rad place, that forum eventually died and i think hackhound kinda sprung up from there?. last but not least I created an account on opensc (in 2006)! many forums were springing up and dissapearing but OpenSc was a pillar that could not crumble. it was the pennical of "the scene" for me. then the day came when lttcoder (founder of opensc) retired .
it was a sad day and Opensc has never been the same since. it was still a pretty cool place though, it took many years before it slowed down and grinded to a halt.
i never really coded before i joined opensc, so my early posts here are all dumb questions, but i never gave up. I setteled on a language (delphi) [kinda wishing i had chosen C now lol]. anywho i got real good and did a bunch of stuff, became a moderator, then admin(!) for a while the forum had a rough couple of transitions with admin/mods and when the new guys wanted to open a blackmarket i demoted myself and hit the road. I still poke in every so often, but its sad to see such low levels of activity
. i really hope there will be a new wave of activity that refreshes the scene. recently ive been looking into machene learning (thats pretty cool stuff!), but im also teaching myself C++ from scratch which sucks. i work just short of fulltime and im also back in college, so im poor and tired and would rather sleep than code, yup, thats me cracksman.
[14:13] <%lolage> Delphi this, VB that; shitty trojan here, terrible code there.

Osc have the kingpin of the scene, I'm not even 2000. But I remember lulzforums, fullyundetectables and hotlinks with stealers for steam stuff. Learnt here to respect to others and lessons in my life (27y.o).
